Bee Attack!!!

Okay so I haven't blogged in awhile...but how embarrasing is this. I was in the foyer yesterday at church. Running a little late of course, but we were there. Daya was walking by herself and I was carrying a crate with books and stuff that I needed to deliver for relief society. I all of the sudden felt something walking on my skin. Well then I really felt it, it was a bee and it stung me on my breast!!! So being as graceful as ever in pain I reach in and grab it and throw it out of my shirt. Everyone is looking at me like what the heck is she doing? I then screamed and told Elisa Wright to go and get my dad. Last time I was stung by bees I got really sick. So the stinger was still attached to me and dad so discreatly went ahead and got the stinger out. I went ahead and went in to fast and testimony meeting but then I decided I had better go home. I was glad that I did. I got really light headed and ended up sleeping from it. It was really weird. Well today that spot is all white and around it is red. So that was just a great thing to happen in church. So if anyone else gets stung by a bee, please remember to be a little more graceful than I was...lol :)!

Baby Update

Well we do know for sure that we are pregnant. Went yesterday to the doctor in Silver City, N.M. and took a pregnancy test while we were up there. Well we have a due date of...wait for it...wait for it... MAY 12, 2009. Can you believe that? Well that's what they are saying. I hope that we can have it on Grandma Rhoton's birthday that would be the 15th of May. That would mean so much to me since I am named after her! Don't tell Chris this...but I hope we have a girl...so she could have that special named passed on to her. This year has been really hard loosing both grandma's and everything else that our special family had had to deal with. I am hoping that next year will bring lots of love and joy. Heber and Brook are supposed to have there baby on the 4th I think so we will again be baby cousins in the same month like Daya and Calla. Well happy blogging to all. Dinner is ready!!!! Love all of you who read this!!! And we do miss you all!!!

News!!!

Well our family has some exciting news...Daya is getting a new playmate at our house. I found out the reason I have been so tired and just didn't have any get up and go...because it had got up and left with the fact that we are pregnant. I still have to get a full confirmation from the Dr. but both pregnancy test did show positive. Well that's what we have been up tooo. lol...Well we got to spend the weekend down in Mesa. While it was nice to be down there and see people it is really hard to keep up with everyone when you are feeling so tired and warn out. I did get some resting time so that was good. Well have to run...Daya is playing with the remotes and you know what that means!!!! (I am missing my favorite shows...Curious George!!!!)

Fun...

Well I am sorry that I haven't updated my blog in such a long time. It has officially been over a month. Well I thought that I would write just a few things. I haven't been feeling the best lately...I have been so tired it is unreal. Well we had the fair this last weekend with the kids. I can't believe how much of an effort it was to get Delilah and Oat ready for showing and sale. It was fun though. I really do miss projects like that. The kids did so well in showing there animals, I couldn't believe it. Katelynn was in the running for the Grand and Reserve Champion Pigs. She was doing really well. Case did really well also. We found out that his sweet looking pig did get "fixed" all the way and he was really wild. Well we are doing chile tonight and mom needs my help. Well I have to go...so I will have to blog later.

Well let's just say that last couple of days have been a little bit of a trial for our family. Our home which was Grandma Thygerson's home had just recently had the electricity knocked out by our "tree house" tree falling and taking out the electric line. Well since the wiring in our home was so old...it has been a trial to try and find a electrician to come and work on the house. So we are staying with mom and dad. It's not that fun for Daya because she misses her bed. I will admit that I miss mine to. Well have to help get dinner on...but just wanted to update with the latest things that have happened.

Well today is our last day here in Utah. We will be traveling home tomorrow. I am a little sad to be leaving here...but yet so excited to go home and see my husband. We have really needed our "da da" the last couple of days. Daya is cutting two teeth at the same time. She finally got the bottom one to break through...but yet she has the top one that is pretty big that needs to just break through the skin.
Well today Daya decided that she wanted to climb all over Auntie's sewing kit. Well little did I know that this little Tupperware box was going to take her for a bucking ride and made her fall off the box. She then busted her nose and got a fat lip. I am really upset about that, but she survived and wanted to get right back on.
We are doing great but I can't wait to get back home...Ya know how it is to sleep back into your own bed...well we got new bedroom furniture so I can't wait to see how Chris has put it together in the room and I can't wait to try out our new bed. I am so excited by the deal that we got on it. It was Ashley furniture set with a huge dresser with a mirror a queen bed and two night stands, all for the $500.00 bucks. Can you believe that steal of a deal. We definitely needed the new furniture. The biggest challenge we are going to be facing will be breaking Daya of sleeping in the bed, and getting her used to sleeping in her crib now. We will just have to wait and see what happens....Please wish us luck on the endeavor!!!!

Utah Time

Well we are up here in Utah enjoying spending time with Celeste and her family. Daya has grown so much due to her being in a different environment almost every other day. It has been a great joy to be up here. Daya is growing almost everyday and we will be seeing her turn one i a couple of days. It is such a growing experience because Celeste and Jeremy just added another baby to their family. Cute little baby Rykin!!! Daya loves him and wants to touch him and give him kisses. She keeps calling him baby since she can't say to many words.

I am so excited that I was up here for this experience. I will post some pictures from our trip on here later... but I just wanted to write a few things down.

Well as many of you know we are the Lewis Family. I am now a stay at home mother...so I decided I would follow in my sisters footsteps and start blogging. So here it goes.

Chris and I have been married for a year and a half now. We were married on April 21, 2007. We have a beautiful daughter Daya Ann Rosalyn Lewis, who is going to be turning one on the special day of August 5, 2008. It has been such a beautiful experience to be a mother and for us to be parents.

It is quite fun now to be at home with her. I find out that I was missing a ton of things when I was at work and she was either at "Momma Auntie Mindy's" home or at Nana Rhoton's or even at a sitters. I am thankful for this great opportunity. These pictures are a little bit old, but I thought I would at least put them out there.

I do have some new ones from the 4th of July when Chris and Daya where swimming in the pool. She loved the water, she was in there for about 2 1/2 hours. I couldn't believe it!!!
